About WAGS

The Welsh-American Genealogical Society (also known as WAGS) is an IRS 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization founded in 1990 and chartered in the State of Vermont.
Tax-deductible donations, wills and bequests are gratefully received.

WAGS was the vision of Arturo Lewis Roberts, founder of NINNAU, the North American Welsh newspaper.
WAGS produces an English language genealogy newsletter each quarter which serves the family history researcher / historian, of all levels and genres of interest, throughout the Welsh world! The WAGS newsletter is ISSN: 1520-8249.

WAGS has a public Facebook page and a closed group list.
Visit the WAGS Facebook page often. There one will learn more about the society.

The WAGS library is currently closed due to reorganization work and while it continues fund-raising to enable it to relocate its collection into a larger and public site.

WAGS is a member-helping member society. It is served entirely by volunteers from many walks of life and levels of research experience.
